Question about Nikon Coolpix L100 Camera

I have been thinking about buying a Nikon Coolpix L100 Camera. But I have found out that it is not listed in the gphoto camera list. My question is - will this camera work with linux?

Thank You
Bob

Almost any camera will work. The easy way to transfer the pic files is to buy a memory card holder ( USB connected ) . The memory card looks like an external disk. Open your favourite file manager, and copy the files. Piece of cake...

If you have to have the camera work with gphoto, it will work if the camera does MTP mode. I have a Nikon Coolpix 5000, ut us seven years old, and can be set to that mode. I have a new Olympus, it worked out of the box. Ask where you are looking at cameras. It will be in the doc if the camera does that mode.
