Hi all

I am playing with Vmware and have installed a WinXP home on a virtual machine. Been having some resolution issues, which I have fixed by putting both Xandros and WinXp Home at 16 bit color. Questions : the WinXP home on the virtual machine goes to either 16 bit or 32 bit color. When I look at Control Center,Display,Settings, it only goes to 24 bit. I have a ViewSonic GS790 monitor running on a Dell Dimension L866r with an 8210E CGC controller. Will this do 32 bit color? How do I know outside of Trial and error? How do I set up Xconfig to handle 32 bit color? How do I get Display Settings to give me a 32 bit option? Does Xandros do 32 bit color? A lot of questions, and thanks for any help in advance.

Thanks for the response. I guess that does solve the problem. The only thing now would be to find a way to work WinXP back to 24 bit color. Thanks again.
