Here's the configuration:
Red Hat 7.3
HP x4000 Workstation, dual P4's
1-3 GB RAM
2 x 36 GB HD's
nVidia Quadro 4 900 GXL with dual LCD displays (some HP, some Samsung)

Downloaded the latest version of the driver for RH 7.3 (4191) and loaded it. The load went fine. Configured for use with dual displays, no problems.

When the system boots and user logs in, one of two things will happen. Either the first message box that KDE or Gnome displays will lock X or when you start running applications or windows, you will get the upper left hand corner remaining, kind of like a echo of what was there. Eventually, you have to log out to clear the screen, but that doesn't resolve the issue.

We have tested this on several identical configurations with the same results (thus ruling out hardware problems). This has only recently occurred with the 4191 driver.

Has anyone else seen this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?
