I am trying to install the beta kernel in order to avoid all the problems the 2.4.20 release has given me due to acpi on laptops. The kernel compiles and no kernel panic only one major problem. When I try to install the nvidia kernel driver i get
lsmod: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented

lsmod: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented

depmod: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented
What can I specify in the kernel to avoid this problem. And do I need to recompile. I will appreciate any help.
