pwc driver for Logitech QC pro 3000

Greetings group,
I'm using SuSE 10 retail with the kernel 2.6.13-15.7-smp. I'm having trouble getting the pwc driver to work on my system. I'm getting just a gray screen in gnomemeeting. The camera is listed and setup, light on, with [pwc] next to it in the monitor section of System Menu. I've been advised to compile from source, which I have attempted and got the following error
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.13-15-obj/i386/smp'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `modules'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.13-15-obj/i386/smp'
make: *** [default] Error 2
Any help would be appreciated

Reagrds,
Solar^

I did manage to get my webcam up and running. I'm very happy with the frames
setting and the video is in general much smoother than in Win XP. Ah, my
last tie to XP! What needed to happen was several things. Over the last two
days, SuSE has updated my kernel 2.6.13-15.7-smp through YOU. And I found
the mailinglist of the w__.saillard.org/linux/pwc/ very helpful in solving
the problem. Several people had had problems too with the rpms and the
source pwc-10.0.9-rc1 driver so I went back to the pwc-10.0.7a one and it
worked fine. It could be that I didn't remove the old driver first, but
hey, I've got video and I'm happy. I did need to do the following
housekeeping chores ahead of time
# cd /usr/src/linux
# make cloneconfig
# make modules_prepare
change to the unzipped tar file directory
Then did a make and make install in su mode
reboot if another driver was installed then
# modprobe pwc
everything went great....hope this helps someone else.
Regards,
Solar^
