Put in new motherboard...now FC3 lock/freezes up Randomly
 

FC3 was running fine but i had to install a new motherboard. I thought that things were working fine but FC3 freezes at random times it seems. I thought that it was overheating so I got another fan and I also reinstalled the kernel. I am having no luck. I have a dual boot with winXP and it has yet to freeze on me. It seems to have been getting progressively worse. At first like one a week and then to the point in the middle of work. Since the reinstall of the kernel it froze up about 1 day later. I thought that it might also just be X windows locking up, but I tried to ssh to my box when it was locked up and I coudln't do that. I am really at a loss, any help would be great! Thanks

I had a similar thing happen a few years ago - new MB and I couldn't install Linux or Win98 (each would lock at random points of the install), but XP installed fine. It turned out that my RAM bus was running a bit too fast. I've no idea why that was okay for XP, but it was killing any other install.
