Purchasing Advise : Quad Head Graphics Card

Hi

I am looking at building a new PC. It will be my main workstation, i really want a quad head graphics card.
3 screens on the desktop and a HDMI going to the TV.

So my question is which manufacturer do i look at? MY concern is obviously linux compatibility here. I'll probably be running mint.

Really the drivers want to be open i think.

Any help or recommendations would be appreciated.

For reference I'm looking at i5 or i7 and 16GB-64GB of RAM as i run lots of VMS, and hopefully some striped SSD's.

Either AMD or Nvidia will work. Linux has drivers for both. I'm not sure about the newest just released card but I don't think I will be an issue. The graphics driver module should auto load on boot and then you can configure further if need be. Each manufacturer has proprietary drivers available to download on their websites and each distro will have drivers available in their repositories.
