i am thinking of purchasing a brand new AMD64 desktop PC system.
Would like to know which 3D display card, sound card, network card, monitor, motherboard, modem....etc work very well with linux's device driver.
For Mainboard: NFroce Chipset is a good choice, there usually is sound and network on board and it works both under linux out of the box ( well in Slackware, but nvidia provides drivers, just in case )
Graphics Adapter is the same. nvidia since they have quite a good driver support for linux.
