PSU Voltage Regulator

There is a little red slider on the back on the PSU and I know it's the voltage regulator but I'm just not sure what it's there for.

Its for configuring the power supply to run on either 230 volts or 120 volts input power. Most countries except for North America use 230 volts. Do not change the setting.

These days you will find most electronic equipment can be configured for either voltage. Its a global ecomomy today.
