PSU problem
Ok, first, sorry if this thread is out of section, because this is not a Linux<->Hardware problem.
In the next image you can see my mother board, only a part, see also 2 surrounded sections one in green and one in red. Is an Intel® Desktop Board D850GB -> http://support.intel.com/support/mot...esktop/d850gb/ http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ublik/mobo.jpg Yesterday, a friend give me an ATX Power Supply Unit but only have the connector for the red surrounded socket, there is not something for the green surrounded part. My question is, what kind, or model, of PSU i need for my mother board? that have the tow connectors that need it. |

THANKS, the PC power on with the ATX, but i keep and shut down in the grub stage. I think that thing could be important, hehehe. Now i'm at my school.
Reading a little there is ATX and ATX12V [1.x and 2.x] the 12V version has the called "Pentium 4 connection", my old PSU has it. the 2.x series has extra-pins. |
