PS/2 Keyboard stops working.
Debian (Sarge) system.
Just last week, I did my weekly updates via dselect, and everything seemed fine, but my keyboard stopped working the next time I booted. The keyboard will stop working whenever X starts, for example, when the desktop comes up after the screen saver has been on. When KDM comes up. When I switch to a virtual terminal and come back, etc. If I plug in my usb keyboard and press a key, the PS/2 keyboard starts working again. Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this problem? |
could be the shift key state, I have a laptop that does that pressing ~ or ctrl+shift+f2 works to unlock it.
