hello all
i am a newbie to linux migrating from windows and i dont want to return ti microsoft again
i have a proplem in installing my scanner driver on linux debian
the model of it is benq 5000
can i find a definition for it on linux
i entered the benq website and i didnt find a definition for linux
plz help me to solve the prblem
Almost all scanners are handled by sane and one or more backend drivers. The supported scanners list shows that the 5000 is at least partially supported by the snapscan backend.
If you're willing to pay for it, there's also the proprietary VueScan program, which says it supports the 5000(E/U) as well.
