promise SX6000

Is there any way to drive the SX6000 in kernel-2.6.X

The official driver for SX6000 just support kernel-2.4.x;

and, I have heard about some info: I2O in kernel-2.6.x can support the SX6000. But, I failed when I try kernel-2.6.16/2.6.15........2.6.0

The latest bios for the card effectively disables any i2o support. Have you looked at the kernel config to see if their is any thing that you can comple into the kernel for this card? I have bunch of these cards in servers that sometime I will be forced to upgrade them to a 2.6 kernel. Just dreading the day as of yet.
