Promise IDE Controller

Has the Promise IDE driver been verified to work with RedHat 9? I looked at the RH9 Hardware Compatibility Database but I still can't find it.

weather it is redhat compat I do not know, but I use 2 promise cards, promise makes its own linuc support and it is great.
