processor prices

As I am sure many of you know, both Intel and AMD have slashed back the prices on their CPU's in this past week. My question for you all: in your experience, how long did it take from the time these CPU manufacturers cut their prices to when the customer started "seeing" these new lower prices trickle down to the distributors? I was going to put together a new PC, and the very same day I was going to put the order in I heard about the price cuts... and so am waiting to buy until I can take advantage of the lower prices... and I am so anxious I want to order my new computer!!

And just for clarification, I am talking about how long it will take when buying the processors individually from like mwave.com or something, not how long it will be before we see the price cuts on prebuilt machines like Dell or Gateway.

Maybe 6 moths which the processors that are 2 GHZ theygoing to be very chipper because of new models. I recommend AMD for faster results but wait untill they get in the technology of 0.13 ì because are still in 0.18ì. Intell is in 0.13 ì. So wait a little bit to buy a good AMD. If you want something less but more stable i suggest Intell. Also in overclocking intell i thing is better.
