Problems with wlan in Xandros 3.0

Hello good people.

I am having problems with my 3Com OfficeConnect Wireless 11g Pc Card, 3crwe154g72 card. I have been in contact with Xandros tech support, but so far, no sollution.

Copy of my last email to them:

********

Hello again,

I can't enable it at all. I disabled network connection, configured
wireless interface, tried to enable again, now it only say "Failed to
restart eth0".

Knoppix got ip adress from my router and all, no configuration needed.
So I
figured there must be a configuration problem in Xandros, since I have now
verified that it works in linux.

Any suggestions on where to look and how to "reset" all my network
settings, removing the wireless card from the Xandros configuration would
be nice. So I can start with a blank configuration again, and do
everything
right.

This is how I did it last time:

1. Copied the firmware file from windows/system32/drivers/ (or something
like that)

2. Pasted it into usr/lib/firmware (the folder you directed me to install
it in) and renamed it

3. Restarted Xandros

4. Xandros found wlan card, wouldn't get ip adress from the router

5. Disabled the network interface
6. Configured wlan settings

7. Tried to enable the interface again and get "Failed to restart eth0"

8. Rebooted the laptop with a knoppix live dvd in it. Knoppix found the
card and configured it automatically, received ip adress

What am I doing wrong?
***********

Now, if anyone could provide me with help. I'm leaving for holidays tomorrow, and won't be able to go online without wlan. So I kind of need help fast.

Answers extremely appriciated
