My soundcard isn't working in slackware 8.1.
It is a SiS 7018 onboard.

When I types "Ispci -vv" it types this:

Funny how the important part got cut off in the top right hand of the first line there.

Regardless, these new goofy SIS cards are mostly covered within the i810_audio driver. However, this one seems to be covered by the trident driver... duh and I got this to work for a friend just last week... I'm a re-re. Can you tell research was done mid-post there?

modprobe trident
