ive just installed red hat 8.0 on my dell C400 and am having display problems
The resolution seems to be stuck in 640 x 480 and there is a line across the screen where the display is all messed up !! the picture seems to be all muddled up!!!
ive tried changing the resolution and it saves the new settings but then when i restart it flicks back to 640x480!
well yes ive found out wot the problem is but it aint easy to fix !
check out http://www.linux-laptop.net/ if you want to know more but without a hell of a lot of work u just have to run it in 8 bit colour to get the resolution at 1024*768
