Problems with my graphic card
I have a problem with the NVIDIA kfa2 GeForce rtx 2060 OC 6gb graphics card. I have Ubuntu 22.04. I recently bought a graphics card and today I installed it in my computer (previously I used the integrated i5 11400 processor from Intel). Initially, it did not detect my graphics card after installing the drivers. Then somehow my dad got it, I checked in Minecraft how many fps I have and it turned out to be the same as Intel Integra (i.e. 60 fps) and it says that rtx is detected. I don't know what to do, please help.

I've not had the need to do anything like this myself (my idea of gaming is PysolFC ), but this article from Intel might help: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us.../graphics.html

You did not say anything about the system, nor OS other than mentioning Ubuntu 22.04.
If you installed the nvidia card did you also install the nvidia drivers? If so, what version? If not, and you are using the nouveau driver it is well known that nouveau does not support hardware acceleration on nvidia cards. Thus even if using that good GPU for gaming the performance will take a hit due to lack of hardware accel. Installing the nvidia driver will give you hardware acceleration and the best performance possible with that card.
What fps are you expecting? It may not totally be dependent upon the GPU but is also factored by the CPU, RAM, type of storage (HDD, SSD, NVME, etc.) and other system hardware.

What I have bolded in the quote is a nonsense term as clear as mud. Nouveau is the only applicable FOSS kernel module for NVidia GPUs, thus "default" is orthogonal to driver applicability. For Xorg/Wayland display drivers, the upstream default for NVidia is not nouveau, even though there is a reverse-engineered FOSS display driver, considered "experimental" and with a less than stellar reputation, named nouveau, available. Upstream from *buntu, the default display driver for the vast majority of AMD, Intel and NVidia GPUs is named modesetting, and has been for more than 8 years. For more info, see here. Thus on initial installation of the NVidia, OP may have needed no driver change at all for normal FOSS performance, but may have needed a BIOS setup change for optimal performance, and still may, with or without installing proprietary drivers.
I am just fine with the graphics performance from my i5-11400 driving 3 displays:

I think I know what's going on, I have not turned off the integrated graphics and maybe the graphics card is visible but the computer still uses the integrated graphics

Post the output of " inxi -Fz" (inside "
..
" tags).
This will give a better description of your hardware and also confirm which graphics device and drivers are in use.

Even better, inxi -GSaz, which will provide maximum detail about hardware and software affecting graphics without polluting the thread with hardware details that have no impact on "Problems with my graphics card".

Please edit posts #10 & #11 to include the code tags as instructed in post #8. Also include the actual commands issued, as seen in post #5.

Most BIOS automatically shut down the IGP when a PCIe slot is populated by a graphics card. The BIOS can't be adjusted if there is no graphics output.
