Question problems with CUPS and PPDs

Hello there,

one week ago I started with a Slackware 10.1 server ftp and web all works
the only problem i have is that I want to let the server share
a Kyocera Mita KM1530 printer with the whole home network,
so everybody can print over lan

samba is running great the only problem is that when I try to
install the printer via web interface it never shows the right ppd i use

but it is in the /user/share/cups/models directory

I cant do lpadmin -p KM1530 -v parallel:/dev/lp0 -m KM1530.ppd
it says:
lpadmin: Unable to connect to server: Resource temporarily unavailable

I dont know how to point the ppd to the printer ive tried a lot
searched everything and couldnt find anything that really worked

could anyone help?

thnx in advance
