Problems with ADAC RAID card

I am trying to install Mandrake 10.1 onto a quad Xeon system. The install allows me to chose the language and accept the licence. It then tells me it is installing driver for hard drive controller. Moments later it hangs with the following message:-

insmod'ing module megaraid failed at usr/bin/perl-install/module.pm line 324

The machine has 4 SCSI drives controller by a ADAC S466 RAID card. This appears to be working as I was able to set up and format the drives. This card seems to be just in Gateway servers so I can find little about it. Is it supported or should I swap it out for another card such as Adaptec?

Chris.
