Problems networking lexmark X73

Okay, I'm really close to getting this to work, but I'm a bit stuck.
Setup:
The Lexmark X73 is connected to a windows XP, my machine is a redhat 9 box running as the samba host using Foomatic + drv_z42 / CUPS.
I have the correct drivers installed on the redhat machine , and I can send files to the print queue on the windows machine, BUT I can sit and watch the print queue on the windows machine, the file enters the file queue then leaves, no errors, no nothing. It just doesn't print. Obviously it's authenticating through samba or it wouldn't even get to the print queue (I thought that was the problem at first. hehe).

Any Ideas??? I'm really confused....
