problems in HDA Intel Sound Card in Ubuntu Dapper


Hello i have HDA INTEL sound card. Its onboard. My ubuntu dapper OS does see that card but it does not work properly. When i use volume control sound disapears and there is a metalic sound which makes a great headche when sound exsist. My PC is p4 3.2ghz Asus mother board p5PL2. I applied every thing in that link to solve the problem. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HdaIntelSoundHowto

Could anyone help me to fix that problem?

I'm facing the same problem as you. Managed to fixed it. My PC spec p4 3.0 ghz, Asus P5PL2 mboard
