problems getting kworld dvb-t 220 card running under mandrake 10.1

I have some problems getting my dvb-t card to run under mandrake and somehow I don't know where really to start. I haven't found aby really good and clear howtos so i don't know if the card is supported or recognized by os at all. maybe i could start from clean installation of mandriva 2006 and see how it reacts. Only thing that I t ink I've understood is that I probably need a newer kernel.
