Hi.

What sort of calibration do you need to do? There are plenty of websites which have gamma etc. calibration charts on them.

I need to calibrate about 20 monitors to look the same without the possibility of human error. I'll need an actual device that will calibrate the monitor for me, similar to the one Pantone make for Windows and Mac boxes. Have you ever seen one of those for a linux box?

Hi again.

You *might* be able to run the windows version of the Pantone one under WINE. I doubt very much if the software could tune brightness / gamma automatically, but I'm sure you could do this manually (via xgamma etc) if you could get the information out of the colour profile these programs produce.

There's a page here:
http://www.colorvision.com/newsletter/2003-01-17.html
which seems to have some sort of Linux support for calibration devices.

The last page of this pdf:
http://www.colorvision.com/downloads...uguide-win.pdf
also mentions a Linux version.
