Problems configurating my sound card w/SuSE 8.0
Hi everyone;
I've sent a thread questioning my problems in configuring my sound and video cards, but I decided to take the questions apart, because the people see replies on it, and think my problems are solved, and sometimes only my video's card problems are solved or vice-versa.
Anyway, I've a Aureal A3D interactive Audio, which came on-board w/my motherboard. My PC is a Compaq Presario 5150.
I've looked over hardware compatibility at SuSE website, but I've not found nothing about my sound card.
I tried making some experiments w/YaST using another drivers settings, like the ones I saw at the sound configuration in Win98. At windows, the driver used is a ESS Audiodrive but the answer that came w/all the tentatives I made was: "The kernel module **** for sound support could not be loaded. This can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters".
So, please, I ask for someone give me a solution for that, because w/o hearing my MP3s, is like loosing my hearing.
Thanks
