Problem with wireles keyboarddddd

Well, I typed that error in the title on purpose but that is the problem I have a Labtec Wireless Desktop keyboard (plugs into the PS/2 socket next to the mouse) and am running Gentoo 2005 but I'm having a really annoying problem. Sometimes, even when I don't hold down a key, it presses it automatically and keeps doing so until I press a different key. I've tried changing the batteries and it still does it. Is there anybody who has any idea what may be going on here (at first I thought it could be to do with me enabling mice in the kernel but then wouldn't X not be able to use it?)?

Thanks

I have the same problem with my wireless keyboard.

But I find that it has to do with where I am in relation to the receiver.

Also, it happens to me in windows.

I shall try moving me receiver then. Come to think of it, the problem only started the other day after I shuffled my desk arrangement around. Thanks for the idea
