problem with suse 10.1 installation on intel D101GGC


my mother board intel D101GGC. while installing suse linux 9.3 it popped out a message box showing that no hard disk is found. So i have installed Suse 10.1
it has detected the hard disk during installation.Rebooting after the completion of installation I have got a corrupted screen (with no icons,taskbar,..........nothing) with bold rectangular mouse pointer.
