Hi Guys,
I really need some expertise on this,
I Installed RedHat 9 the other day and its giving me alot of trouble.
I install it fine, thru the graphical mode installation and i use my mouse and keboard during the installation fine, then when its all installed, i try to go thru runlevel 3(text mode), i get to the login screen and it doesnt let me type, the _ cursor blinks but i cant type.
When i try booting thru runlevel 5 (graphical mode), my screen flashes and the screen becomes black and doesnt load any further.
Any Ideas?
- I tried reinstalling RH 9.
- I verified the MD5SUMS of the ISOs.
- I do dual boot, the other OS is Win2k and monitor/keyboard work fine on those.
- I tested the keyboard on another computer, all fine.
Please Help, i have been trying to fix this for weeks!
It's beyond me, I've never had a problem with Linux recognizing a PS2 keyboard. When you installed it, did you tell it you were using something other than a standard keyboard?
