problem with mounting flash memory card from digital camera

i've got usb flash memory card reader. when i connect it to my pc it mounts under /dev/sda or something like that. but the problem is that the file system on card is fat16 which appears to be unsupported by my distro (which is RH9). is there any possible way to read the content of this card (using RH9 of course)?

what have you tried to do to read it? it won't be sda, probably sda1. do you have any actual error messages?

well i've tried to mount it. initially i've tried to mount it as vfat fs, but than i was told that i'm attempting to mount invalid fs, so i've tried to mount it as fat16. than i was told that fat16 isn't supported.

and by the way it is sda not sda1

what does 'fdisk -l' have to say about it?
