problem with modem HAMR5600

I have this modem mounted on a ECS GREEN 732 laptop. I have downloaded and installed the driver, the modem comes seen, but when I try to use it or pre a logon to Internet or in order to send a fax, I notice of an error in the composition of the numbers, the composition tones are not perfect and some times come repeated...

someone knows like resolving this problem?

ok, I solve the problem!

My chipset is SiS 537 and the right driver are:
slmdm-2.7.10
on kernel 2.4.20

the problem in composition of number depends on one conflict of the driver >2.7.10 whit the chipset SiS

enjoy
