Problem with LexmarkZ23

I have very big problem with my printer
My printer use USB and Linux always stuck when I truing install it [printer] .
Even when I'm installing Linux, I must shut down printer because installation stuck too
I think problem in my motherboard or something with bios ...
My printer LexmarkZ23 and motherboard MSI 745 (I know, it not best) and I'm using Mandrake 10.1
Can anybody help? It's very important for me

check -

some of the Lexmark printers aren't supported under Linux...

I found some post on that site about my printer:
"It works fine with Suse 9.0 if:

you uninstall CUPS completely and
run the *.sh file, that can be downloaded for Lexmark in a X-shell



Also I have drivers

So Lexmark23 must be supported

I change few BIOS USB settings and now printer work fine
