Unhappy Problem with k3b


i have installed k3b but k3b don't see my dvd-rom
My DVD-ROM is a Pioneer A06 or 106....
Can you help me?????????

Have you already run the k3b setup? You have to do that first before k3b really works.

Have you emulate your dvd as scsi in your lilo / grub conf? Say hdx=ide-scsi.
If your dvd is recognized as hdc then hdc=ide-scsi

Make sure the permission of the device are right. That will cause problems if they are not.
