problem with intel 100 pro ve lan card

I have intel 100 pro VE network card. I've compiled 2.4.22 kernel with intel driver for this card.I have module e100 but when i try to insmode it, it says that can not determine the kernel version. Anyone working with this card? My distro is red hat as 2.1.
