Problem with dvd,cd drives (media)
These are the errors I have been getting seems to have started after an install of a usb dvd burner.
An error occurred while loading drives:/cdrecorder.desktop:
The file or folder /media/cdrecorder does not exist.
An error occurred while loading drives:/cdrom.desktop:
The file or folder /media/cdrom does not exist.
An error occurred while loading drives:/dvd.desktop:
The file or folder /media/dvd does not exist.
I checked the fstab and mtab settings and the look correct
fstab

This is what I did to try and fix it
Ok I went to the bios and disabled both the cd drive and the cd burner drive and removed both in yast re-booted and of course they did not show up, so I go back to the bios and put them back and back in yast and reboot.
I am curious so I watch the boot log and see the following which is from the boot log and system log.
/dev/hda4 on /MUSIC type xfs (rw)
/dev/hda3 on /home type reiserfs (rw,acl,user_xattr)
/dev/cdrecorder2 on /media/cdrecorder2 type subfs (ro,nosuid,nodev,fs=cdfss,procuid,iocharset=utf8)
/dev on /media type subfs (ro,nosuid,nodev,fs=cdfss,procuid,iocharset=utf8)
