problem with CD-ROM mount ?

Hello ...

i am using Zenwalk Linux (was MiniSlack) 1.1 in my old computer

i tried to mount to CD-ROM and it's show this massege for me :

mount: /dev/cdrom is not valid block device

have u viewed ur etc/fstab and checked whether ur cd has been configured?
