Problem w/ New Load of Fedora Core 7
I am trying to install Fedora Core 7 onto a new system. The system booted fine from CD, but I had a minor problem during drive setup. The system consists of a SuperMicro X7DVL-i motherboard, 2 Quad-Code Xeon E5335 CPUs, 4 2G Ram Chips, ATI Radeon 9250 /256M PCI Video Card and a Creative Labs Sound Card. We have 4 500G SATA hard drives installed. The system has the Intel onboard SATA raid, which we configured for RAID10.

During install, we initialized the HD and it saw it at /dev/mapper/isw_jeeehjjjg_Volume0 and having approx 500G available, not the expected 1000G. We setup 3 partitions, 100M /boot, 200G /, and 12G swap. The system appeared to install fine.

Upon Reboot, the system display GRUB in the upper left corner and stops.
We can boot and mount the system using the Rescue option.

df -h reports the two partitions on /dev/mapper/isw_jeeehjjjg_Volume0p2 and /dev/mapper/isw_jeeehjjjg_Volume0p1.

/etc/grub.conf has the following
title Fedora (2.6.21-1.3194.fc7)
root (hd0,0)
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.21-1.3194.fc7 ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb quiet
initrd /initrd-2.6.21-1.3194.fc7.img

There are other lines, but the are commented out.

Please help. Booting is #1 priority, and size difference is #2.
