Problem installing video driver

I think I made a boo boo. I Have mandrake 9.1 and a TNT2 video card. I was installing the new Nvidea drivers off there website and when i rebooted i have the Nvidea screen and then flickers and then goes to just the Text login screen. I am a newbi so i don't know much about it. So can some one tell me how to fix this without reinstalling the O/S and also what i am supposed to do to install it. Thanks!

Tried startx after logging in?
Maybe you're still in runlevel3 after the install

Ok i just did that and there is an error and it says "Could not start KDEINT. check your installarion" How do i fix that?
