problem installing nvidida 6150 gefroce drivers

Hi folks!
I didnt find a similar thread to this, so I opened a new one. If I overlooked something, please be forgive me....
Well, If I I recently bought this Asus A8B-VM CSM. It's running with this nforce 430 chipset. So, I tried to get the graphics driver to run. First of all I tried to install the deb given by ubuntu. apt-get install nvidida-glx. Since that doesnt seem to work I downloaded and installed it -as it says completly-. When I start gdm then, everything works fine. But after I restart my computer X doesnt find the nvidia module anymore... When I reinstall the nvidia given driver everything workes again.... But I still mist have this nvidia-glx package installed, otherwise it doesnt work.
Regards -fault

To my knowledge if you install a new nvidia-glx driver you will have to recompile your kernel to use the new nvidia driver. I'm not 100% sure.
