kyromaniac LQ Newbie Registered: Feb 2005 Distribution: Ubuntu 11.04 Posts: 5 Rep:	Problem installing ati driver on FC3 I'm completely new to Linux and I'm having trouble installing xorg 6.8 drivers on Fedora Core 3. I have a Radeon 9700 pro. I followed the instructions and it seemed to install properly with no errors but when I ran fglrxinfo it was still mesa3d. I have been trying to get it to work for about a week. Without them even the screen saver runs badly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
