I have tried CentOS, Debian, FC and Ubuntu...All of them stuck at the formatting ext3 screen. Formatting a 1TB drive will take like 6 hours and the s/w RAID rebuilding would not finish (10000 minutes).
What is wrong here? I have swapped the HDD but it still doesn't help....The OS can detect the HDD but run into problem when reformatting it.
Few days back, the same issue when installing to a ASUS desktop motherboard with 2TB drive.
