I'm using an FC3 in my laptop and have upgraded the system to fully new packages by using the default yum. Now I find that there are some problems in using my locally connected HP LaserJet 1200 printer. It always prints very slowly under linux while it can print very fast under Windows on the same laptop. I examine the printer driver in 'printconf-gui'. It's automatically configured driver is Postscript, but it is claimed also that 'It is not the recommended driver'. When I changed to another driver (e.g., ljet4), it is then claimed that 'The recommended driver is Postcript'. What's wrong with it?
