Problem connecting Prolink PHS100 usb modem in fedora 11?

I want to connect the Prolink PHS100 HSDPA usb modem in fedora 11, but the modem has some problem in linux as the SCSI CDROM fakevolum with drivers for microsoft windows gets automated by usbstorage,ko module preventing serial device /dev/ttyUSB0 from working properly, can any one help please?
