Problem configuring dual monitor on ATI and openSUSE 11.1
 

Hi All,

I am trying to configure a dual monitor setup(one big screen out of two) on my ATI Radeon X1200 video card with openSUSE 11.1 and KDE 3.5. I have Compaq 6715b laptop LCD screen and ACER AL2416W 24" LCD screen. I searched this forums as well as forums.opensuse.org. I google it and nothing helped so far. I tried to configure the monitors trough SaX2 and trough ATI Catalist control center. I installed ATI driver(9.3). But nothing works. I have my desktop mirrored on both screens and I can't change the resolution on the ACER screen, it stays on 1280x800 as my laptop and I ma trying to change it to 1920x1200. Bellow is my xorg.conf file. Can anyone please help me with this. Thanks.

P.S. I am new to linux so excuse my lack of knowledge. If you need any other information please let me know.
