PRO/Wireless 3945ABG network connection

Dear All,

I'm trying to get my wireless network card to work with Slack 11.0 and kernel 2.6.23.12. Here's lspci:

# lspci | grep -i wireless
0c:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (rev 02)

Support is built into the kernel.

Here's ifconfig:

# ifconfig
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:18:8B:AA:0B:87
inet addr:10.0.0.2 Bcast:10.0.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0

TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0

What do I do next?

There's instructions on how to build your own driver and Slackware 12.0 ships with drivers for the adapter in /extra. Read the documentation and compile it for 11.0 and it should work.
