I am doing pretty well with SuSE 10, in general. The only problem I haven't been able to sort out myself is the printing. This works some of the time but now and then the page will stop printing about 25% though the 1st page being printed. The printer just stops. Sometimes the whole computer
locks up but when it doesn't Kjobiewer shows the job when viewed as root so I cancel it. I then have to reboot the computer and when it comes back up the job will sometimes print. I have tried to turn the printer on and off, thinking it's a printer buffer, but it doesn't delete the job. The temporary fix is to re-detect the printer but that get tired after a few times. I am printing with a Brother MFC5440CN and am using the Brother drivers for Linux SuSE which are MFC5440CNlpr and cupswrapperMFC5440CN. Any suggestions on how to overcome this or getting pointed in the right direction to figure it out would be appreciated.
