Printing to Savin C2020 multiplex printer in SuSE 11.2 CUPS

I am trying to get ahold of a driver for the Savin C2020 color multiplex driver. I found this:

http://support.ricoh.com/connectivit...in/ctlpage.cgi

if you do a ctrl+f for find, search for c2020. I downloaded this file, untar'ed it, read the Usermanual that is included in the SAVIN directory, which has these instructions for installation:

Code:
1) User login as "root"
        2) Create a new temporary directory. If you use the default /tmp
           directory, installation may fail
        3) Change to the temporary directory created
        4) Extract files from the distributed tar file, using the command
"tar -xvf file_name". The installation program "unix_installer",
together with other files, should now exist in the new directory
           "ricoh"
        5) Make sure "unix_installer" has execution permission. If not,
use the command "chmod" to change the mode of the program to
           be executable
        6) Type "./unix_installer" and hit Enter to start the
           installation
        7) Follow the instructions on the screen and answer the questions
During step 7, I get this message:

Quote:
Your system has CUPS running, please go to http://www.linuxprinting.org to get the appropriate PPD file for your printer
I went there, but do not see how to search for the PPD file. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Be a bit adventurous - or - there is a search box...

I typed "ppd" in the Search at the top of your linked page and got this. It is a start; note item 1.3.

I realized I worded my original post way wrong. It's not that I don't know how to search for what I'm looking for on the site, but rather I searched it out and could not find what I was looking for. While searching the site I found this:

http://www.openprinting.org/driver/pxlcolor-Savin/ does not include the C2020 printer in the list of supported printers

and I found this:

http://www.openprinting.org/driver/Postscript-Savin/ also does not have the C2020

lastly I found this, which is a search by manufacturer and printer:

http://www.openprinting.org/printers but it too does not list the C2020.

I got it to work.

I noticed on the back it had a plate that showed:

Savin C2020/DSc520/CP420c/Aficio MP C2000

I know Aficio is a Ricoh brand, so I searched in the available printer drivers to choose from and found an Aficio MP C2050 driver that worked. This was available in Yast already. But can also be downloaded using the above links. It doesn't seem to print color, but a tech that leases the printer out to our company suggested to download the Driver that is available for Mac and use that PPD to print color.
