Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Lol, some progress at last. Under set printer options from the cups web admin page, there's a couple of sections worth looking at. The first is: Printer Features Common and Printer Features Extra 3. Both of those sections have ink settings, it may be worth checking what is selected especially the cartridge type under Printer Features Extra 3.

At last

I think i'll be putting an end to this matter.

Check this up: i decided that this was a hardware thing, since the printer head actually faked to be printing what it was supposed to be printing. So i grabbed a clip, uncurled it, and stuck into the cartridge and the pin that holds it in place. It started printing black. I'll post back if it stops printing again. Big chance it will, although the test page actually resembled something in accordance.

Just to clarify what i was getting before: the Color Wheel and the border shadows of the Imageable Area. The rest had too much black in it, so it wasn't printed at all.

Thanks too much man, and everybody. Love LQ!!!!!
