Printer problems
Hi.I am a newbi to Linux but very keen to learn. at present I am using ubuntu OS, I am trying to configure my canon printer, but not having much luck, the system has recognised my scanner which is working fine. Can anyone please put me right. Thanking you in anticicpation. Happy Bricky.

Checking over at the above link, for a i860 series says not compatiable. They call it a paper wieght. Checking the canon site shows no linux drivers either.
If you think of getting a different printer check the HP line. I have 3 HP printers under linux and all have worked great.
