Printer Driver Help?
I just purchased a Panasonic KX-1123 dot-matrix printer for cheap.........(just to play with).

When I try to set it up in Vector Linux SOHO, I dont have the kx-1123 driver but I do have one listed that reads "kx1123/epson". Just wandering if anyone else has one of these dinos and if this driver is the right one?

I got it! It works just fine. I have to say this is a very nice printer to be so old!

I had one of those Panasonic printers years ago.... wow... this takes me back....

Did you consult the Linux Documentation Project ?

I still have one of these things, alive and kicking, though not plugged up to this (the Linux) box.

Yes it's the right driver, although you could download a seperate PPD again from Linux Printing

(Although because it's not directly plugged up, I couldn't persuade it to play nice - it will print, but the scaling is wrong. But that could just be because I have to go through a Windows box to access it from here... If you have any more luck, do reply back here.)
